Hot Air oven

Overview

Hot Air oven manufactured by S.C. Dey is a unique test cabinet designed to detect the change in the physical characteristics of the material and to ascertain the actual working life at elevated temperature. This instrument works on forced air circulation, thermal convection principle.

Construction double walled outer made of thick mild steel. The 2” to 2½” gap between the walls is filled with fibre glass wool. Outside finished in epoxy painting. Heating electrically and operated on 230 Volt, 50 Cyls., AC. Temperature from 5°C above ambient to 250°C. Temperature controlled by Digital Temp. Indicator-cum-Controller. Variation not more than ±1°C. Shelves are supplied with above ovens of galvanized wire mesh. A circulating fan will be provided to maintain uniform temperature in the chamber.
